International Vanilla Market Observatory (IVMO) is the provisional name of a proposed private, independent institution with an international mission. It would welcome actors from producing and importing countries, without serving a government, company or commercial group. Its first responsibility would be credible information on prices and market conditions. A professional international marketplace is a longer-term possibility to study, not an operating exchange.

Producers and exporters agree the grade, origin, weight, laboratory evidence, and delivery basis. A consistent specification supports meaningful comparisons.
02 — Document warehouse custody
The proposed framework uses receipts tied to identifiable inventory, custody controls, and inspection records. No licensed warehouse network is operational through this website.
03 — Match buyer and seller
Market participants would review quality and commercial terms before agreeing a spot transaction. Indicative benchmarks are not executable offers.
04 — Settle with safeguards
Escrow, clearing, dispute resolution, and delivery would require licensed partners and jurisdiction-specific agreements. Trading and payment settlement are not currently available.
